PA Hospital Teams Vote: Make Your Voice Heard this Election
September 09, 2024
Pennsylvania hospitals—with more than 267,000 employees—have an important voice in every election.
This year, HAP and Pennsylvania’s hospitals are encouraging staff, patients, and their communities to get ready for the November 5 election.
"Our elections help shape the way care is delivered across Pennsylvania, and hospitals are working hard to make sure staff, patients, and communities can be heard,” said Nicole Stallings, HAP president and CEO. “HAP is proud to celebrate this critical role hospitals play in the democratic process across the commonwealth.”
HAP’s election website serves as a nonpartisan, one-stop shop for hospital teams and the community to learn about candidates and where they stand on health care issues, find important election information, and access voting resources. Here’s what you need to know:
- Not registered? Pennsylvania voters can register online. The last day to register to vote before the General Election is Monday, October 21.
- Need a mail-in ballot? Any voter may apply for a mail-in ballot by no later than Tuesday, October 29. Completed ballots must be received by your election board by 8 p.m. on election night.
- Key details: You can find additional information about voting in Pennsylvania online.
