The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) is a not-for-profit trade association based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which advocates for nearly 240 Pennsylvania acute and specialty care hospitals and health systems including primary care, subacute care, long-term care, home health, and hospice providers, as well as the patients and communities they serve.

HAP’s employees represent its membership in the legislative, regulatory, and health policy arenas in Harrisburg, Washington D.C., and regionally, including the southeast.

Operations Specialist

HAPevolve is seeking an Operations Specialist. This position performs duties essential to HAPevolve’s operations and ongoing success by providing operational support across a number of HAPevolve’s business lines including supplier partnerships, consulting, HAPevolve services, and HAPevolve’s emergency preparedness program.

This position will work with HAPevolve business development resources to support supplier partnership program deliverables and communications. Key tasks include:

  • Schedule and support business partner deliverables
  • Business reviews, webinars, marketing communications, etc. and provide limited outreach to health care providers to facilitate sharing of information about HAPevolve solutions and partners

In addition, this position will work with HAPevolve business development in supporting HAPevolve asset disposition services. Key tasks include coordinating listing, selling, and the delivery of items sold under HAPevolve’s asset disposition program. Additional duties:

  • Working to support the deployment of other HAPevolve services through basic tasks related to customer acquisition, education, onboarding and support
  • Provide support for HAPevolve’s consultative services through supporting HAPevolve consultants in project deliverables, coordination of meetings and communication with clients
  • Support outreach and business development efforts of the HAPevolve team and tracking and maintaining key sales, operations, and financial reports.
  • Support the tracking of key information including: sales data, client contact information, financial metrics, and performance metrics and participating in HAPevolve team initiatives and projects as needed

Candidates for consideration must:

  • Have a Bachelors’ Degree in an applicable field or five years of operational support experience; knowledge or experience working in and around the health care industry preferred.
  • Possess excellent customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player, goal-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Be able to travel

Manager, Integrated Communications

The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania is seeking a Manager, Integrated Communications for our Communications department. This position is responsible for working to ensure the successful digital promotion of the HAP brand. This position also will be responsible for:

  • Developing email marketing strategies to maximize the effectiveness of association communications and business goals
  • Analyzing data
  • Setting performance benchmarks

In addition, the incumbent will successfully:

  • Increase traffic to HAP’s website
  • Optimize user experience through SEO, written and creative content, and the use of digital analytics
  • Promote HAP and HAP subsidiary brands
  • Develop written and creative content, including video and graphics, to support HAP’s strategic plan and annual goals

Candidates for consideration must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital marketing, or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience

Successful candidates must possess a solid knowledge of marketing automation platforms and customer relationship systems as well as SEO and SEM strategy and execution, understand social media analytics, and have experience with digital marketing tools.
