Evy Olson, MSN, MBA, RN
Evy Olson is a seasoned health care leader, currently serving as vice president, nursing programs at Vizient. With a career spanning over 30 years, she serves as a trusted advisor and expert in workforce strategies bringing a unique blend of operational and strategic vision to the table. She's also a speaker at industry conferences and a published author on workforce trends, with a unique focus on the impact of nursing workforce in the health care industry.
In her current role, she leads clinical workforce programs, collaborating with nurse leaders across the country. This includes the leadership of the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program (NRP). Previously, Olson was vice president of clinical effectiveness at Sanford Bismarck, an integrated health care system. She's served in chief nursing officer and chief quality officer roles in her past—leading executive and operational programs in nursing and quality leadership across the health care continuum.
Olson holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of North Dakota, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Meg Ingram, MSN, RN
Meg Ingram is an experienced nurse educator and advocate, currently serving as a lead programmatic advisor within the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program (NRP). With over 700 organizations nationwide utilizing the NRP, her role involves guiding these entities supports organizations in transitioning new graduate nurses to the profession of nursing as well as overseeing the program’s curriculum.
Prior to joining Vizient, Meg was a nurse residency program coordinator, where she developed a strong commitment to fostering supportive and collaborative programs for new graduates. Her focus on enhancing patient outcomes, nursing leadership, and evidence-based care has been a driving force throughout her career.
Meg’s clinical background encompasses bedside nursing in orthopedic, neurosurgical, trauma, and emergency departments. In her role in nursing professional development, she has created various programs and resources to support nurses across experience levels, including preceptor programs, competency development tools, nursing externships, academic partnerships, and self-paced and instructor led education.
Meg received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University.
