Innovating to Improve Behavioral Health Access

Location: Online

Registration Deadline: June 15, 2023

Overview

Thanks to the underwriting support of HAPevolve and XFERALL, a HAPevolve industry partner, this webinar is complimentary for all HAP members.

Delayed care for patients with behavioral health needs leads to poor patient outcomes and emotional stress felt by patients and staff. Technology innovations can efficiently connect hospitals, community mental health programs, health care professionals, and behavioral health treatment programs resulting in decreased wait times for behavioral health placement and reduced strain on overcrowded emergency departments.

During this session, participants will discover how to remove manual processes and modify business workflow to align with patient care needs. The result is faster patient transfers and better patient care, while reducing cost and improving staff engagement.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Consider approaches to improve the efficiency of intake and referral processes
  • Evaluate care improvement and cost reduction opportunities using analytics
  • Identify best practices to effectively use technology to drive care process improvements
  • Learn first-hand how data transparency can improve care coordination with your team and referring partners
