Shana Palmieri
Chief Clinical Officer and Co-Founder
XFERALL
Shana Palmieri is the chief clinical officer and co-founder at XFERALL. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic business operations and clinical innovation of the company. XFERALL is a platform designed to create efficiency and improve patient care in the healthcare system by pro-actively matching patient needs to facility capabilities, quickly connecting healthcare professionals to providers with the resources to treat patients’ conditions. XFERALL is an innovative technology aimed at disrupting inefficiencies within the healthcare system with a specific focus on addressing urgent access to care for behavioral health and medical patients.
Before joining the team to launch XFERALL, Shana served as the Director of Community Services at Kalihi Palama Health Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Prior to this position, she worked at The George Washington University Hospital as the director of the Behavioral Health Division which she developed.
Shana entered into the start-up world after more than 17 years of experience in healthcare and social services including direct clinical practice and healthcare administration. Her clinical and administrative experience includes working within various healthcare settings including for-profit and nonprofit healthcare systems, local and state government programs, and nonprofit social services agencies.
