2023 Continuous Service Readiness Spring Conference

Overview

The Pennsylvania Continuous Service Readiness Program (CSRP) is a joint effort between Joint Commission Resources (JCR) and The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) to structure and implement a program by which hospitals can receive education, consultation, and feedback on an ongoing basis from JCR and The Joint Commission (TJC) staff.

This meeting is limited to participants from CSR hospitals. Not a member? If you are interested in participating in the CSR Program, please contact Daneen Schroder.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss how the infection control (IC) standards intertwines with other standards, how to risk assess the IC process and use evidence-based guidelines to develop policies and procedures
  2. Identify CMS expectations for maternal health, health equity, commonly cited CoP’s, and identify the major changes in USP 797
  3. Verbalize one difference between problem-solving (firefighting) versus process improvement
  4. Explain the importance of health equity as a national patient safety goal
  5. Discuss 2023 Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) Update

Continuing Education Credits

This conference is under review to be eligible for 9.75 continuing education units. 

Full attendance is a prerequisite for receiving full continuing education credits.
