Each year, HAP honors hospitals and health systems for their innovation, creativity, and commitment to patient care through an annual Achievement Awards program. The primary goal of the program is to showcase and share member hospitals’ and health systems’ innovations and best practices in a variety of areas. The 2013 award categories include: workplace, community benefit, patient safety, patient care, and operational excellence. All submissions will also be considered for the Innovation Award which recognizes exemplary work in an organization through the introduction of a bold breakthrough idea or intervention that goes beyond typical and has resulted in improved system-wide processes or outcomes.
See below for the 2013 Call for Entries brochure and application form and the award-winning entries from 2012. Applications must be postmarked on or before April 19, 2013. For more information contact Mary Barth in HAP Member Services at 717-561-5270.
