Governor’s Budget Address Focuses on 2015–2016 Budget, Hospital Supplemental Payments Remain in Jeopardy

Governor Tom Wolf’s fiscal year 2016–2017 state budget address focused on the unresolved 2015–2016 state budget, the crisis threatening the commonwealth, and the consequences of inaction. He believes the problem is mathematical, and pointed to the potential for a $2 billion budget deficit by July 2017.
