New PHC4 Report Shows 1 in 3 SE PA Hospitals in the Red

A report released today by Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) shows that in southeastern Pennsylvania (SE PA) during fiscal year 2015:

  • About 30 percent of the 45 general acute care hospitals reported on lost money on operations.
  • One in three of these hospitals lost money overall.

Hospitals, Public Health Kick Off Initiative to Improve Community Health
