PALS Database Unavailable for Licensure Renewals on October 30; Renew in Advance to Avoid Expirations

October 25, 2018

The Pennsylvania Department of State, Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs (BPOA) new licensure renewal database, the Pennsylvania Licensing System (PALS), will not be operational on October 30 between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. Individuals will not be able to renew their licenses during this time.

The BPOA Deputy Commissioner announced that the system, which replaces the former MyLicense system for data collection and licensure application processing, will be undergoing maintenance.

HAP recommends that all licensees who need to renew their licenses, particularly those whose licenses expire on October 31, complete their renewal applications before October 30 to avoid delays.

Questions may be addressed to Katelin Lambert at BPOA.
