News Release: HAP Welcomes Kate Routledge as Senior Director, Compliance Support

Effective October 10, Kate M. Routledge has been appointed as senior director, compliance support, at The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP).
In this position, Routledge will manage issues related to regulatory compliance across the continuum of care and hospital operations. She will work closely with HAP member hospital and health system staff to help member organizations understand and meet the expectations of those who pay and regulate the industry.
Routledge brings more than a decade of health care and compliance experience, most recently serving as the Human Research Protection Program and Institutional Review Board manager at Lancaster General Health Research Institute. Routledge also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Elizabethtown College and Pennsylvania College of Health Science in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Her curriculum includes health law, health policy and finance, and health policy and ethics.

Routledge holds a master of jurisprudence in health law from Loyola University of Chicago, a bachelor of science in technical management from DeVry University, and an associate of occupational technology from Horry Georgetown Technical College. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Capella University, studying health administration.
