HAP Welcomes Doug Barber as Senior Accountant

Effective August 1, J. Douglas Barber has been appointed Senior Accountant for The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP).
In this position, Barber will assist the controller in all functions of the association’s financial operations and will serve as the main accountant for outside organizations contracting with HAP for financial and accounting services.
Barber brings to HAP a wealth of knowledge about budgeting, account analysis and reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and reporting.

Barber earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lock Haven University and is currently pursuing his master of business administration at Shippensburg University. He resides with his family in Hanover.
