Pennsylvania’s Top RN Programs
March 17, 2017
RegisteredNursing.org has ranked Pennsylvania’s top 30 nursing schools based on the percentage of graduates who pass the exam for registered nurses (RN). Programs reviewed include schools that offer a Diploma in Nursing, an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN), or Direct-Entry Masters in Science in Nursing (MSN) Degree.
Four of the top ten schools are hospital-based diploma programs, which reflects positively on the caliber of their nursing educational programs. The data also reflects the growth of BSN programs and their abilities to educate and train nursing leaders to elevate the quality and safety of patient-centered hospital care.
RegisteredNursing.org seeks to promote excellence in nursing by providing future nurses with the tools they need to succeed, including information about the exam success rate of schools.
HAP supports the crucial role of nurses in integrated, team-based approaches to care and health care leadership. This has included supporting multiple educational routes for RNs, as well as the opportunity and support for RNs that receive a diploma or associate degree to advance their educational attainment.
