The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP
) is a not-for-profit trade association based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which advocates for nearly 240 Pennsylvania acute and specialty care hospitals and health systems including primary care, subacute care, long-term care, home health, and hospice providers, as well as the patients and communities they serve.
HAP’s employees represent its membership in the legislative, regulatory, and health policy arenas in Harrisburg, Washington D.C., and regionally, including the southeast.
The HAP team supports the association’s goal of advocating for a health care delivery environment that enables hospitals and health systems to provide accessible, affordable, quality care to all Pennsylvanians.

Senior Director, Compliance Support
The senior director, compliance support, liaisons directly
with hospital leadership and other health system staff to help member hospitals
understand and meet the expectations of those who pay and regulate the
Candidates for consideration must have:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in health care, hospital
administration, management, or related field
- Five to seven years of experience in compliance, accreditation services, hospital operations, or regulatory policy preferred
- Self-motivated with strong customer relations and organization skills
- Must be able to analyze complex subjects quickly and identify the potential impact on HAP member hospitals and health systems
This position works autonomously to manage
compliance-related projects and collaborates with HAP's advocacy team to shape
HAP's regulatory and legislative response to state and federal public policy
issues that affect HAP members.
